The great holiday decor debate.

Do you already have your tree up? Or are you the type to let Thanksgiving have its due first?

I shared in stories how I feel about holiday decor...and it’s definitely an unpopular opinion!

(#ad) Did you know the Garage Airbnb bathroom is not even 40 square feet? It’s definitely tiny house small.

And that’s why creating vertical storage was critical in this space, & the matte black brackets from @cratesandpallet were the perfect accent to this vintage industrial bathroom.

I picked up some project boards at Home Depot, stained them, and hung the brackets in just a few minutes...it was the only easy project in this space!

I loved these brackets so much I ordered more for the tiny kitchenette in the garage!

The next time I say I want to renovate a garage, stop me. It wasn’t without lots of hiccups & cash, but the Garage Airbnb bathroom is DONE!

I tackled this portion of the garage as part of the @oneroomchallenge with @betterhomesandgardens. There were design changes, failed DIYs, & extra expense.

But I’m sharing all the details on the blog today- including a few projects I want to tweak in this space!

I don’t know what it is about old homes, but I just love them.

Maybe it’s the years of wear on the wood floors. The creaking of the screen door. The non-open concept rooms.

I love when I get to sell old houses. They’re all so unique and tell a story- and I’m here for it every time!

What about you- are you an old house lover?

Did you know the two slowest months for real estate sales are October & December according to sales data?

But yet I just finished the busiest October of my career & currently in another crazy busy week.

In case you’re wondering- interest rates are great, prices are holding steady, buyers are looking and more grant programs are popping up helping buyers.

I think I could get used to insanely busy Octobers!

And so it begins. Cold weather. Early nights. And I’m not a fan.

I much prefer sunny beaches and cocktail drinks.

But until I’m living my Golden Girls life, you’ll find me all curled up under blankets and wearing oversized sweats.

Oh Pinterest, you kill me.

I fell for the “Easy Ceiling Plank Tutorial.” While it is a tutorial, it is not easy.

I’m currently knee-deep in both regret and planking the ceiling in the Garage Airbnb.

And let me tell you, I’ve never regretted a DIY project more!

Maybe you’ve seen them on house hunting shows. Maybe your coworker told you about them. Maybe you got one when you were selling your home.

One of the latest strategies in real estate is including personal offer letters with purchase offers.

A cute family photo. A brief family bio. Hobbies the kids enjoy.

Seems innocent enough & maybe it’ll help you get the winning offer.

But before you jump on that bandwagon, you need to know there are risks- legal risks- to these offers!
