How I Became An Accidental Real Estate Investor
Hi, I’m Jenn! By day, I’m a Realtor in Northwest Arkansas. I spend my days showing property, selling houses, writing contracts, and everything in between. When I’m not busy doing the job I love, I am personally tackling the real estate investing world one dated, ugly home at a time. From busting tile to picking out paint swatches, I tackle [almost] every project myself. As a Bachelorette, I have successfully bought, flipped, and sold multiple projects including Bachelorette Pad #1, Bachelorette Pad #2 and Bachelorette Pad #3, my sweet grandma’s home. Since my initial flips, I have successfully completed Flip #4, Flip #6, and Flip #7, & Flip 8. Two years ago I also purchased my first long-term hold property: a mid-century home, Flip 5, in the downtown historic district that I am currently restoring while living in it. Flip 5 is home to the Garage Airbnb– a renovation undertaking like no other! I’m an Airbnb Superhost for my cozy cottage & Stone Manor until those properties were both sold.
How I Got Started In Real Estate Investing
I started this crazy house-flipping life with one goal of paying off my student loans. In 2017, I reached that milestone and paid off the last of my $70,000 student loan debt thanks to house flipping! In addition to house flipping and being a Realtor, I am a regular contributing writing for Homes.com.
