Hi Res-5835Hi, I’m Jenn! By day, I’m a Realtor in Northwest Arkansas. I spend my days showing property, selling houses, preparing leases, and everything in between. When I’m not busy doing the job I love,  I am personally tackling the real estate investing world one dated, ugly home at a time. From busting tile to picking out paint swatches, I tackle [almost] every project myself. As a Bachelorette, I have successfully bought, flipped, and sold my first project: Bachelorette Pad #1. I’ve also bought, flipped, and sold my second project, Bachelorette Pad #2. I recently purchased Bachelorette Pad #3, my sweet grandma’s home. I live this crazy house-flipping life with one goal: paying off student loans. So many of my projects are DIY and on a budget. Sometimes things go smoothly, but a lot of times, there are problems and hiccups. It makes for interesting stories and experiences! I hope you’ll stick around for the interesting and fun experiences in this house flipping life I live!

Jennifer takes pride in the work she creates. In each flip, she invests all she has– money, time, and energy. Through the journey of three house flips, Jennifer has been featured on HGTV, Huffington Post, and Hometalk. She utilizes her creativity, ingenuity, frugality, and resourcefulness to inspire other DIYers. Documenting both afternoon projects to full scale remodels, The Bachelorette Pad Flip is a blog not just for house flippers– it’s for everyone that wants to make whatever space they call home a cozy, inviting space!

  1. Hello Jenn: I love your blog……but I’m looking for yet another cheap solution to window shades??? I hate the colour brown, and caramel is right up there too…….the simpler blinds you recommend come in at just over two stars in recommendations….so……..? I’m on a trick budget too…..are we all. Jay

    1. Hey Jay! There is another option…it’s not as easy to install but definitely not difficult. It requires an L-bracket (usually provided) install. Those type seem to come in more style options like fabrics with patterns and varying colors. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Perfect-Lift-Window-Treatment-Chocolate-Cordless-Fabric-Roman-Shade-23-in-W-x-64-in-L-3RCC230640/206815981?cm_mmc=Shopping|THD|google|&mid=suw1hhD6m|dc_mtid_8903rn225192_pcrid_155444394628_pkw__pmt__product_206815981_slid_&gclid=Cj0KCQjwierMBRCHARIsAHl9i4F5kRXQWJeHWPRHai4SxoWRxYRuB-IMfBrara-tgsbT1jTA8Q2LLScaAp_FEALw_wcB

  2. Just wondering ~ Is that why you started as a realtor as well…? I wanted to finish my BA, but realized I would have more student loan at my age, and no guarantee of a job either, so am deciding to either take a realtor course or something else quick!
