As with the master bath, the vanity desperately needed some updating in the main guest bath. I decided to keep the cabinet but give it a facelift. The marble vanity top was donated to Habitat for Humanity, and instead of creating a DIY vanity top, I opted to use a faux granite laminate. While I’m usually not a fan of laminate in a bathroom, I like how this one looks. I also added a farm sink and new hardware. I haven’t added the faucet yet, but that is next!
I used a stark white on the cabinet which makes it look like a brand new piece. I used my trusted countertop guy to install the laminate top. All together, labor & parts, the vanity remodel cost less than $100!
I opted for chrome hardware because I am adding a shower door that has a chrome frame (and I’m OCD about all that matching). I love the look of the new vanity. Up next- find a great deal on a faucet.
