I love the laundry room in this house. It’s SO huge. I have a sink area, tons of storage, a toilet room, pantry, and countertops for folding laundry. The only downside (as with the rest of the house) was that it was so dark. The cabinets were dark, the walls had dark wood paneling, and… Continue reading Laundry Room (Almost) Reveal
The Bachelorette Pad came equipped with a very dated, very ugly metal carport. Since it already had a two car garage, I did not see the need in keeping the ugly eyesore. I had planned to attempt the removal myself, but since school has started my time is severely limited. Luckily, my floor guy wanted… Continue reading Goodbye, Carport!
The Bachelorette Pad’s exterior is a complete and total jungle. Plants are overgrown, trees have taken over, and beautiful shrubs are hidden by overgrown weeds. Much of the grass had taken a beating since the trees had taken over the yard. The grass hadn’t seen sun in ages, so much of it was dying or… Continue reading Grass Seed Recommendation

If you want to lessen the hot water (in a kid’s bathroom), the process will take no more than 10 minutes with this easy step-by-step process.
Among many other things in this house, the kitchen floor was in desperate need of a facelift. The dated green sheet linoleum was in good condition; however, it was a disco era design. I’m not a fan of sheet linoleum…ever. I replaced the countertops with a light faux marble appearance, and since the cabinets are… Continue reading Floor Facelift
My front door is a solid wooden door with lots of accentual carvings. It’s old, but it has character. I really liked it, and I had no plans to replace it. It’s amazing what a few small changes can do to a front door. A coat a paint and new hardware make it look like… Continue reading Front Door Makeover
